Chapter 1 - The Universe has Gone MAD!
In a small village, a group of needy people respond to a request for help from raiders. Together they travel to the mountains and find a cave. They enter the cave and fought some evil guys, killing their leader a half-orc. During this whole time, the rules of the universe seem to flux and alter in strange ways. It is a strange new world.
Chapter 2 - The Soup
A group of people join and respond to a request for help from raiders. (is this familiar?) They are asked to make some soup to pacify the marauding bugbears. They do so, encountering a witch and some nasty people trying to stop them.
Chapter 3 - The Plot Sickens
The group, made up of Bumblbrocknockface, a pot smoking gnome; Zane, some old pot smoking cleric guy; Xandera, a feisty pot smoking elf; Budda, a pot smoking monk; and Calim, a pot smoking warrior dwarf (see a pattern), are on their way to delive the stew to the bugbears when they are "ambushed". From out of the rocks near the bugbear cave jumps a young man and an older more buff warrior with a sword.
The young man announces, "We have..uh..raided you and...uh...are taking your...um...treasure stuff. Now that said, hey, bumblebeak, can I talk to you?"
Bumblenosebodyguy says, "Hey! I know you,you're Marvin (who helped him in chapter 1), what are you doing?"
Anyway, they are joined by Marvin, Waelon, and Darra. Marvin convinces party to keep it a secret that they've succeeded and talk to the duke in private after delivering the stew. They deliver the stew, after solving the mystery that one of the bugbears trying for power poisoned one of the pots of stew.
Before leaving, they rest in cave, and Marvin tells them to that they might get ambushed when they leave the cave. The next morning they leave the cave and are ambushed. The ambushers try to take Marvin (after shooting him with crossbow bolts) but they are defeated and the victorious party takes an overland route to return to the duke.
They get their treasure from the duke and are paid for helping out. A message is delivered to Marvin, whom says that the party can find some good opportunities in a village to the west. After a nights rest in the Inn and purchasing horses, they ride two days to the place.
Chapter 4 - The Sunless Citadel
The group reached the town of Ortuck (or something like that) and stabled their horses. At this point,an owl spoke and said it had a message for Marvin. Marvin, Waelen, and Darra all followed it to the edge of town where a 12' tall blue man offered them employment. In return for payment in the form of gold, they and their allies would go to the Sunless Citadel and find either the signet rings from, or else find a brother and sister who adventured down into the darkness below and haven't returned. If we return them of whole mind and body we get paid double.
They returned to the Inn, informed the party of the job, and asked around about the place. They found out a few interesting tales and then set off for the citadel.
A couple hours later, walking, they reached it and found a rope leading down into the chasm to the sunless citadel. They went down the rope, found a ledge 40 feet down, and fought some giant rats. They followed some stairs down to a tower. Entering,they found some kobolds. The first kobold, Marvin tried to kill, but the party objected. He left, not being able to stand the inane chattering of the stupid creature. He came back a while later and Bumbleduck agreed they had to kill the creature. It ran and managed to open a door before Marvin shot it. 3 others ran out and a small battle ensued. They kept 2 alive to talk to, after having a fight over wether or not to kill the stupid pathetic creatures.
Fed up, Marvin said he was going above ground, he was tired of the stupid torch light and dumb annoying creatures. Darra went to guard him, leaving Waelen with the party. They explored a while more, running into more rats and creatures and generally just exploring.
Chapter 5 - What's going on?
Continuing to explore, they find a golden skinned man held prisoner, they free him, and he joins them. He is apparently a monk named Tsenatchka. Jokes are made about his name. He is nicknamed "snatch-ka". People giggle when they say "snatch". They explore and find lots of kobolds. They learn about some creature below growing some plant with strange powers or something. At some point the party gets into a running battle with a large number of creatures, blocking doors and being attacked from behind etc. They barely manage to defeat them all, several party members are greviously wounded. Time to rest!
