Chapter 11 - To the Temple!

The party left behind the evil temple at the moat house and returned to town. The followed some wagon tracks that had picked up the evil priest bodies all the way back to town. Tymonie, Zandera, and Budda went ahead to work out details with the castle guy, to have the evil place destroyed / holed up again.

The party wandered around town being rude to people, buying supplies, and breaking into buildings for no reason, before heading off to the temple. While still in town, we were asked to roll spot several times to waste our time with things we didn't care about, and kept being forced to see more descriptive views than we really wanted to. Finally we managed to leave the town ignorant of any more rumors that we really didn't want to know.

On the way to the town we had to pass through a haunted village full of undead. The party decided that the XP earned from the killing of the undead probably wouldn't out-weigh the levels and abilities drained by the undead, so they went around the town. However, after being unable, in any way, to go around the town, they were FORCED to go directly through it, so they ran as fast as they could and managed to avoid trouble.

They continued on and finally made it to the temple, a HUGE area a mile across surrounded by a huge curtain wall. The snuck in around the back, and went through an orchard. They tried sneaking in, but breaking the glass made a lot of noise, so they ran around the other side of the building and...(time freezes)

Chapter 12 - Skulking about...

(time unfreezes)...and as they sneak around, they begin to hear a search party with dogs coming very near. They quickly toss the grappling hooks to the roof and climb up them. Taking cover on the roof, they wait for the search to die off before considering a new plan. A full frontal assault is planned, and the party prepares, but then they daze out for a second and think about climbing in a window instead.

The party moves in, sneaking about, while Tsanatchka, scopes out the place.

Chapter 13 - The Barbarian is a lot better than the Monk

So, inside, they group snuck about..hey..where did Zandera, Tymonie, and Budda go?..anyway...they snuck about and found some dirty gross alters, and finally some stairs down. Heading down there they came face to face with a monkey! Tsanatchka managed for fire an cross bow bolt wide before the thing began rending him apart. He managed to retreat in time to let the monkey rend the paladin who collapsed. Then it attacked Muj but couldn't rend him before he stepped up and lodged his weapon in it's neck, killing it.

Hearing approaching creatures, the party hid within the monkey's dead end room while Tsanatachka, now invisible from drinking a potion, watched the stairs. A group of two bug bears came down and were slain quickly. Then a larger group came down and was also slain, though it was more difficult. Muj continued to slay things left and right while the monk was dropped and then brough up again. The leader took off.

The group persued the leader (like they always do), but the group was swamped by bugbears and goblins (who they finished off fairly effectively), and the leader got away. Sorder was knocked unconscious during the battle.

The group searched around inside, killing some more goblins and looting, before going outside towards the tower to the north east. On the way Tsenatchka ate his black apple and felt quasy.
